Public Health Offering Several Flu Shot Clinics Next Week

The Wyoming Department of Health has reported that there have already been a handful of confirmed cases of the flu in the state. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has information on several upcoming flu clinics in Sheridan.

Deadline for Shelter Pet Calender Contest is Today

Today is the last day for entries to the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter pet calender contest, as photos will be accepted until midnight (Sept. 30). Photos of any type of animal are welcome, as long as it is a pet. Pictures should include animals only, no people.

LADY BRONC SWIMMING RECORD SETTERS

The Lady Bronc Medley Relay team who placed first and broke the school record at Saturday’s meet in Sheridan.

The old relay record of 2:11.88 was from 1999. They swam a 2:11.53.

WEEKEND LOCAL SPORTS WRAP UP

The Bronc football team is 5-0 after shutting out Rock Springs 19-0. They were a little frustrated offensively but got the job done, Head coach Don Julian.

The Big Horn Rams won big at home over Wright, the Rams blasted the Panthers 57-21 to rebound from a road loss at Burns Head coach Micheal McGuire.

The Tongue River Eagles picked up their first win under Head coach John Scott, Ron Richter has the report.

Holy Name Carnival and Chili Supper was on Saturday

Saturday, Holy Name Catholic School held its 78th annual Carnival and Chili Supper on Grinnell Plaza. It was a children's delight with inflatables, games, food, and fun, all a fundraiser for Holy Name.

JCHC: Decision On 2018 Project Coming In December
