Bison Soccer Takes Both Weekend Games

The Bison boys' soccer team took both of their games this weekend. Defeating Torrington on Friday and 4A Kelly Walsh on Saturday.

Friday, the Bison got three scores from Garrett Monroe and a fourth by James Musselman to down the Trailblazers 4-0.

Planner Gives Reports To Buffalo City Council

City Planning Director Lynn Barrett gave her report to the Buffalo Council during their last meeting, saying her office has so far this month received no new planning and zoning applications, but a citizen did bring a property utility question to her that will likely come before the council before long.

Johnson County Youth Camp Board Now Non-Profit

Members of the Johnson County Youth Camp Board came before the county commissioners last week to update them on the progress they have made in getting themselves designated as a non-profit group, and getting into a better position to run the Johnson County Youth Camp for the county.

Beef Quality Assurance Training Thursday in Buffalo

The Johnson County Office of University of Wyoming Extension will be having a Beef Quality Assurance certification training Thursday, April 17th from 2 to 4 pm at the Johnson County Fire Station in Buffalo.

New Science Standards Under Review

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - The Wyoming Board of Education has decided that proposed new K-12 science standards need more review.

The board on Friday instructed the state Department of Education to conduct further review of the Next Generation Science Standards.

Sheridan businessman Jesus Rios was selected by the Sheridan City Council to fill the vacant ward three seat on the Council. Rios says that enthusiastic about the city's plans to increase reserve funds.
