NSF Awards Largest Grant in UW History

The National Science Foundation has awarded the largest grant in the University of Wyoming’s history -- a 20 million dollar project to study water resources.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football program will have three new assistant coaches when they open fall camp august sixth one of the new coaches will be former Bronc standout Jeff Martini.

Head coach Don Julian says he's pleased with all three hires as they get ready to defend their 2011 state title.

And Julian says all three have fit in with the current staff and he's happy the direction the Broncs are heading going into a new season.

Johnson County Library To Host Another Longmire Event

Another event tied to this Saturday's “Longmire Day” in Buffalo will be “Longmire At The Library” at the Johnson County Library that evening at 7pm.

At their meeting Tuesday evening the Buffalo City Council Passed on first reading Ordinance No. 1358 which will partially vacate an alleyway in the city.

The first Farmer's Market of the year will be Thursday at Whitney Commons, across from the library. Local growers will be showing off and selling their harvest.

TONGUE RIVER VOLLEYBALL CAMP

Tongue River Middle School will be hosting a volleyball camp from 9:00-12:00 on August 7-10 in Ranchester.

Camp is open to all girls entering grades 6-8. Wade Wells, director/coach of Montana Juniors Volleyball Club, will be the instructor.

Wells has coached throughout Montana at the collegiate, high school & club levels. Cost is $60 and includes t-shirt. Please call 751-7361 after 5 pm for information/registration form.
