Rollover West of Buffalo Yields Few Details Yet

A one-vehicle rollover west of Buffalo Sunday evening is still under investigation, and not many details are known at this time. Johnson County Sheriff's Deputies responded and assisted with the rollover, but the investigation is being handled by the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

The Buffalo City Council will have more money to help pay for overtime during the next three weeks during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, thanks to a grant from the Wyoming Sheriffs and Police Chiefs Association.

Saturday was a beautiful day for golf as 29 teams hit the links at the Powder Horn for the Annual SHS Booster Club tourney while 9-miles to the north 21 teams teed off in the Holy Name School Golf Tournament. Antelope Butte Foundation Takes First Step Toward Reopening Ski Area

A private citizen effort to reopen the Antelope Butte Ski Area as a nonprofit took a step forward this month, as the recently formed Antelope Butte Foundation met with the National Forest Service to put a hold on action to dismantle what's left of the facility in order for ABF to develop and present their business and fundraising plans to the state.

Gillette Man Dies After Rollover Thursday on I-90 Near Buffalo

A Gillette man is dead after falling asleep at the wheel and being ejected from his pickup during a rollover. According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, 61-year-old Paul J. Drew of Gillette died en-route to the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper following the accident on I-90 which took place on Thursday afternoon 15 miles east of Buffalo in Johnson County.

2011 FOOTBALL SEASON IS UNDERWAY

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team hits the field today for the first time as the 2011 season opens the Broncs had their annual mountain leadership camp Thursday and Friday Head coach Don Julian says it went well.

The Sheridan high school booster club had their booster club golf tournament Saturday and Julian says it was a big hit this year.
