Today's Gilead Fire Stats

The Gilead wildfire is now 6140 acres and 50 percent contained. Assets assigned to the fire today include one helicopter with a 12 person rappel crew, two engines, and the Incident Command  Team for approximately 30 personnel.  The cost to date is $2.2 million.

Two illegal campfires in the Big Horn National Forest have been attributed to starting wildfires.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Born Rams are 2-0 and will play at Wright tomorrow night Head coach Micheal McGuire says the Rams are in a good place going into week three.

After posting two big wins and averaging over 45 points per game he says the Rams are in for a tough battle from their opponents for the rest of the regular season.

The Rams / Panther kickoff tomorrow night at 7:00 the game will be broadcast live for you on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

Johnson County HS's Prepare for Full Weekend Of Sports

Buffalo and Kaycee High Schools' athletes will have a full slate of activities this weekend, many of which will be on their home turf.

The fifth-ranked Bison football team (1-1) will host No. 4 Green River this Friday at Bison Stadium. Kickoff will be at 6pm.

Bud Love Wildlife Management Area Reopened to the Public

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has announced that the Bud Love Wildlife Management area is now once again open to the public. The area had been closed temporarily, as fire crews battling the Gilead Fire on the Bighorn National Forest were using it for a staging area.
