R-CALF Calls for U.S. to Withdraw from WTO

R-CALF United States of America, which is a non-profit cattle trade organization, is seeking approval of a resolution calling for President Obama and Congress to immediately withdraw the U.S. from the World Trade Organization.

Hospital Board to Meet

Sheridan County Museum Visitation Remains Steady

The number of visitors to the Sheridan County Museum remains about the same as last year according to museum director John Woodward.

Woodward said he’s looking at options to boost visitation.

Smoke Clears from Area

The skies cleared over Sheridan, and the Big Horn Mountains were visible Saturday morning as winds blew away the smoke from fires burning in Montana, Idaho and Washington.

We Found Dirlene

We found retired Sheridan High School Principal Dirlene Wheeler at the unveiling ceremony of 'Leonardo's Horse' Thursday night in Sheridan. Sheridan Media's Judy Hagerott provided us with periodic updates on the whereabouts of Dirlene and her husband Neil, while they were on their year-long trek across the country.

Nearly 40 color drawings that depict life of the Lakota Sioux American Indian Tribe in the late 1800s is on exhibit at the library in Sheridan.

City Administrator Ordinance on Council’s Radar

In less than a month’s time, the Sheridan City Council may begin to consider a charter ordinance that would create the position of city administrator. Prior to their first regular meeting in September, the council will hold a work session at 6 regarding the city administrator position.

Library Service Disruption Notice
