With Open House, Frackelton's Fundraiser

Cathi Kindt of the Sheridan Health Center stopped by today's Morning Show to talk with Host Bob Grammens and News Director Leslie Stratmoen about the upcoming Dining for a Cause fundraiser at Frackelton's restaurant in Sheridan.

One-Cent Recipient Work Sessions Begin

Four non-profit agencies in Sheridan that receive funding from the city’s optional one-cent sales tax gave presentations to the City Council Monday during a work session. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the story.

Sheridan College volleyball is pleased to announce the addition of Sulieti Hifo a 5’8 Outside Hitter from Maui, HI to the 2015 roster. Hifo is the second player from Hawaii to ink an LOI for the 2015 class as she will join the SC program that will look to build off this year’s 20-13 record.

“Suli is a tremendous player in all regards. She has a heavy swing, great ball handling skills and plays with a calm, quiet, confident demeanor,” said head coach Jennifer Stadler. Suli comes from not only an elite high school and club program which will help in her early success on our team.”

Appointment and Removal Ordinance Approved

When the Sheridan City Council approved the job description for the Finance and Administrative Services Director earlier this year, the position didn’t fall under State Statute as one that could be appointed by the mayor with council’s consent.
