Report Says State May See Decrease in Revenue in 2015-16

A recent financial report completed by a Wyoming revenue estimating group projects a $150 million decrease in the state's general fund and budget reserve in 2015-16. This information was presented before the state legislature during its current session, in which the upcoming fiscal budget will be determined.

UPDATE: Accident Involving Train and Vehicle North of Sheridan

Update: Calls to the responding agencies were made this morning, and officials are not releasing any details on the collision as of yet. The number of people in the vehicle and the type of vehicle has not been officially released. Authorities say that this incident is under investigation, therefore details like fatalities and injuries are being withheld. We will have that information once it is released.

Wyoming to Get New Lottery Game This Spring

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Lottery players in Wyoming will have a new game to play this spring. The Wyoming Lottery Corporation announced Friday that a game called Cowboy Draw will start on March 15.

For the third time in five years, Sheridan College has been included in the “Community College Week” special report identifying the fastest growing community colleges in the nation. Sheridan College was ranked number 23 in the 2014 report.
