SHERIDAN HIGH SCHOOL X-COUNTRY LOOKS TO THE POST SEASON

BRONC / LADY BRONC X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams are taking a week off to prepare for the conference and state championship meets.

Over the last three races both teams have made a big jump in their competitiveness and Head coach Art Bauers says it's been a lot of hard work by the runners to get themselves in good position this late the season.

And he says it's been good to see both teams starting to gel together into solid team units.

Possible New Physician Discussed By JCHC Board

Physician Recruiting was again discussed by the Johnson County Healthcare Center's Board of Trustees at their last meeting.

Judicial Center To Be 'Substantially Complete' Per Commission

Johnson County's new Judicial Center is expected to be certified as “Substantially Complete” by the commissioners at their meeting Tuesday.

A change order on the new building is also expected to be discussed.

The Sheridan City Council Monday night approved the transfer of a retail liquor license from Richard and Rebecca Howell to Warehouse 201 LLC.

Sheridan County Republican committeemen and committeewomen who reside in District 30 held a selection committee meeting Monday to choose no more than three applicants to fill the vacancy left by State Representative Jon Botten's recent resignation.

Weekend Sports Wrap For Jo Co High Schools

A busy high school sports weekend had mixed results for teams from Buffalo and Kaycee.

In football, Buffalo slipped to 1-4 on the season with a 34-14 loss to the Riverton Wolverines.
Next up for Buffalo is Lander this week for homecoming with kickoff scheduled for 7pm Friday at Bison Stadium.

Kaycee's Buckaroos also fell this week, losing to Meeteetse 66-52.
Buffalo's Lady Bison volleyball team lost to Rawlins 3 games to 1 in their only match last week.

BHS Homecoming Activities For This Week

This is Homecoming Week at Buffalo High School, and many events are scheduled throughout the week, culminating in the football game and Homecoming Dance Friday night.
