Rodeo weekend begins / Troopers host alumni game Saturday / Rockies ready for the All-Star break

WYO RODEO - The Sheridan WYO rodeo heads into day three, slack timed events start at 9:00 the WYO rodeo carnival opens at 5:00 and the 3rd performance of the WYO starts promptly at 7:00.

Slack timed events run today and tomorrow starting at 9:00 and admission is free.

Rodeo week concludes Sunday with polo and other events at the Big Horn Equestrian Center starting at 1:00.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers have their alumni game tomorrow all the fun starts at 1:00 at Thorne-Rider stadium.

10th Big Horn Mountain Festival Begins Today

The Big Horn Mountain Festival will begin today and run through Sunday at the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Buffalo.

Thursday evening after wowing the rodeo arena crowd with her singing of the National Anthem Sheridan's Brekken Baker turned and waved to the grandstand crowd. It was a welcome home for the 20-year old and a treat for the local crowd after Brekken's two years of traveling the world with Up With People.

Airport's Bustling While Commercial Passenger Numbers Fall

Commercial business may be falling at the Sheridan County Airport because of unreliable air service, but airport Manager John Stopka said that does not mean the airport is not bustling with activity.
