Snowpack Continues to Increase

A media release issued Friday by the Natural Resources Conservation Service, states that with the addition of recent snows the March 1st report of Sheridan County snowpack shows higher snowpack than a month ago in both the Tongue and Clear Creek drainages.

Two babies whose parents will have to teach them extra patience in waiting for their birthdays were born Wednesday at Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

STATE / REGIONAL BASKETBALL RESULTS

2-A STATE BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Lady Eagles and the Sheridan Lady Broncs advanced in post season play while the Big Horn Rams were relegated to the consolation bracket at the state tournament.

The Big Horn Rams got beat 61-49 in their first round state tournament game by Wind River. Matt Wigglesworth and Tony Mort led the Rams with 12 points each.

The Rams play Sundance in a loser out game at noon at the Casper events center we will have it live on 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM. Sundance was knocked into the losers bracket by Lovell.

Food Group of Sheridan County to Hold Fundraiser This Weekend

Taco Fest 2012 is Saturday night in Sheridan.

Last week we told you about the Food Group of Sheridan County, a grassroots effort that was started a year and a half ago to help make sure that children in Sheridan County aren't going hungry.
