Heard from a friend this guy hanging out feasting on a deer by the side of the road. So I ventured out there and sure enough, he was still there! This was out on Big Goose Rd. about 10:45am Monday, March 25th.

Sheridan's Wyoming K/C Free Throw Champion

12 year old Jaxon Parker was in Casper on Saturday for the State Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championships.

Jaxon won the 12 year old division by making 21 out of 25 Free Throws he is a sixth grader at Holy Name Catholic School.His parents are Shane and Heidi Parker.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Lady Bronc soccer team split their opening conference matches over the weekend. they beat Cheyenne South 1-0 Friday and dropped a 2-0 decision to Laramie Saturday.

The Broncs whipped South 7-1 and dropped a 3-0 match at Laramie Saturday.

Both teams play once this week as they play at Buffalo Thursday night girls at 4:00 and the boys at 6:00.

BRONC / LADY BRONC TRACK - The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams had their meet at Cody canceled Saturday, this week they will travel to an invitational meet in Gillette Thursday events begin at 10:00 am.

Commissioners Grant $45K to Child Advocacy

The Sheridan County Commissioners approved a grant for Child Advocacy Services of the Big Horns in the amount of $45,000. Susie Cannon, Development coordinator, said the money will be used to support the Family Visitation Program.

Firefighters Continue to Raise Funds for Ed Green Statue

Firefighters with Sheridan Fire-Rescue began raising funds last fall for a life-sized statue to honor Captain Ed Green, who was a member of the Sheridan Fire Department for 26 years.

Brewery Hosts a Speakeasy Party Saturday Night
