Christmas Parade And More Happening in Buffalo Saturday

Buffalo's Chili Feed from December of 2011.

Saturday will be full of events in Buffalo to help kick off the Holiday Season, culminating in the annual Chili Feed and Lighted Christmas Parade downtown.

Events will begin that morning and continue through the evening with something to do for everyone.

VOA Gives Jo Co Commission Quarterly Update

Todd Richins, a new director with Volunteers of America, or VOA, gave a quick quarterly report to the Johnson County Commissioners, touching on numbers of those served and where the program is through the first quarter of this fiscal year.


BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - All the talk is over and it's finally time to play basketball the Sheridan high school basketball teams open the season tonight hosting Green River.

The girls varsity game will tip at 5:45 and the boys follow at 7:30 we will have both games live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

Tomorrow the Broncs host Billings West tip off is schedule for 4:30 and we will have it live on KWYO and 87.7 FM that game will be part of a double header we will bring tomorrow including the Wyoming Cowboys game against Colorado.

Pets Like Santa Too

Each year the Dog and Cat Shelter of Sheridan offers Pet Photos with Santa to help get our four legged friends into the Christmas spirit. The event is an annual fundraiser for the shelter. Co-Director of the Dog and Cat Shelter Sharon Johnson.

Movember Gala a Big Success

Dozens of men and women donned mustaches, real for the men and fake for the women, to show their support for mens health issues at Thursday night's Movember Gala.

Festival of Trees Draws a Full House

The 20th annual Festival of Trees, a fundraiser for Special Olympics, was held Thursday night at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds.

The Exhibit Hall was transformed into a Christmas delight with decorated trees, ornamental wreaths, table centerpieces, all available for auction or raffle.

Making Good Use of the South Gateway Building

A little over a year ago, the Downtown Sheridan Association moved into the former Maverick building on the corner of Main Street and Coffeen Avenue in Sheridan. DSA President John Smith says that the public has made good use of the South Gateway building.
