Weekend Local sports wrap up

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Broncs beat Evanston 42-14 to go to 3-0 on the season after the victory, Head coach Don Julian. Friday they are back on the road at Cheyenne East.

EAGLES / RAMS FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles and Big Horn rams are both 2-0 after home wins Friday, Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has story.

The Rams play at Glenrock Friday while the Eagles travel to play Upton/Sundance.

Johnson County Library Expansion on Ballot

The Johnson County Library Expansion Project has been in development since as early as 2007, but director Cynthia Twing says that after years of planning, she is excited to finally have residents vote on a sixth-penny special tax to help finance the 10,000 sq. foot expansion of the library, located in Buffalo.

Football Field at BHS Renamed To Honor Coach Moon

Friday night at halftime of the Bison football game with the Powell Panthers, a ceremony was held at the 50-yard line to rename the field as “Mike Moon Field” to honor the longtime head football coach at Buffalo High School.
