Johnson County Prosecuting Attorney Kenneth DeCock's office released a statement last Saturday, giving his thoughts on Michael Lindstrom being found guilty on numerous counts in his trial last week.

County Gets Yearly Report From Powder River Conservation District

The Powder River Conservation District (PRCD), out of Kaycee, came before the Johnson County Commissioners at last week's meeting, to give their annual report on their accomplishments this year and plans for the new year.

Buffalo Police Pick Up New Patrol Car

Buffalo Police Chief Jason Carder, during his report to the city council, said he was sending officers to Colorado to pick up the department's newest patrol car. He expected the car to be in the normal vehicle rotation this week.

SC ONE DAY YOUTH BASKETBALL CAMPS COMING UP JANUARY 5TH

SC BASKETBALL / YOUTH HOLIDAY HOOP CAMP - The Sheridan college basketball teams will play games at home January 2nd against Malstrom Air force base from Montana. They will be at home on Saturday January 4th against Casper college.

Both teams host their boys and girls one day basketball camp Sunday January 5th.

The camps are for all kids kindergarten through 8th grade.

Lady Generals coach Frank McCarthy says the Lady Generals players will help out at the camp and will be a lot of fun for the campers.

SEX ABUSE SENTENCE

Man gets 4 life terms for sexually abusing minor

ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. (AP) - A 28-year-old Rock Springs man accused of sexually abusing a minor has been sentenced to four separate life prison terms.

The Sheridan County Museum hosted a holiday open house over the weekend featuring free admission and discounts in the museum store.
Music, holiday treats, crafts for the kids and the annual reading of local author Craig Johnson's Christmas story.
