Sheridan College in Johnson County raises 34K for endowment

Sheridan College in Johnson County has raised more than $34,500 to use for a scholarship endowment.

UW Proceeding With Sternberg's House Renovations

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - The University of Wyoming is proceeding with more than $255,000 in renovations to a house it rents to former UW President Bob Sternberg. Sternberg had requested roughly $163,000 in renovations to the house.

State Engineer may inspect Tie Hack Dam

Buffalo City Works Director Les Hook told the city council at their last meeting that he had received notification from the Wyoming State Engineer's Office that they would like to perform inspections on dams in the state.

Museum Benefits from Holiday Event

A holiday dinner and meeting planned by the Sheridan County Historical Society will be held Thursday night, Dec. 5, at the Sheridan Center. The event begins at 5:30, with a silent auction to benefit the Sheridan County Museum.

School Recreation District Meets Next Week

A work session has been planned for Sheridan County School District 1.

Injured gas worker planned to marry next summer

PINEDALE, Wyo. (AP) - One of the workers injured last week in a Jonah Field explosion planned to marry next summer but is fighting for his life.

Generals and Lady Generals at home tonight / Live broadcast begins at 5:00

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams play at home tonight they host Colorado Northwestern, games will be at 5:00 and 7:00. we will be broadcasting both games live on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

The Generals are coming off a weekend tournament split in Idaho and stand at 8-2 overall and Head coach Steve Smiley says the Generals are playing well right now.

And he says they face another good opponent tonight in Colorado Northwestern.
