Holiday Open House at Trail End Historic Site

The Trail End Guilds has once again transformed the Trail End State Historic Site to reflect the season, as the annual Holiday Open House will take place this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

SPAC Announces Sheridan's Best On-Loan Sculpture

A little over a couple of weeks ago, the Sheridan Public Arts Committee commissioned Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey and members of the Sheridan City Council to vote on their favorite on-loan sculpture from the 2013 program.

Sheridan College Foundation Welcomes New Director

The Sheridan College Foundation Board announced Tuesday the hiring of Tim Stransky as their new executive director. Stransky is a Wyoming native, having grown up in Casper, where he graduated from Natrona County High School in 1978.

Basketball / Wrestling season opens Friday

WINTER SPORTS - The winter sports season begins at Sheridan high school Friday night with the Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams hosting games with Green River, Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian says it will be a great night to kickoff the new season.

The girls varsity game is scheduled to tip off at 5:45 with the boys game to follow we will have both games live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM.

Saturday they play games with Billings Skyview the Broncs on the road the Lady Broncs at home varsity tip off time is at 4:30.

Buffalo council approves county Re-Subdivision

Buffalo's City Council, at their Tuesday meeting, approved Resolution No. 1368, authorizing the Robinson Acres Re-subdivision to allow the separate sale and ownership of the two lots.

Over the next few days we will be looking at the happenings this coming weekend in Buffalo. This weekend features the annual Chili Feed and Christmas Parade, but much, much more is going on as well.

Weather results in short commission meeting

The cold and snowy conditions affected the Johnson County Commissioner's meeting, with many of those scheduled on the agenda unable to make the meeting.

County Amends Floodplain Regulations

Sheridan County Commissioners amended proposed flood plain regulations Tuesday (Dec. 3), and will consider adopting the document at their meeting on Dec. 17.
