Jim Coombs was the winner of this week's $100 in Chamber Bucks in the post-Christmas Stroll giveaway. Winners are drawn from those who register their Stroll button numbers at participating businesses, and the next drawing will be on Tuesday (Dec. 10).

The bitter cold didn't deter the crowd that showed up for an artists' reception held at Sagebrush Art Center Friday night. Called “Retrospective/New Prospective,” it which features the work of four Sheridan County artists.

On Sunday morning, December 7, 1941, the American Army and Navy base in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii was attacked by the Imperial Japanese Navy. The attack came as a surprise to the American Army and Navy and lead to great losses of life and equipment.

Parents in Prison Bring Challenges for Caregivers

Having a parent in prison is more common than childhood autism in the United States. That detail is revealed in a new report from Volunteers of America, which seeks to raise awareness of what life is like for the children and their caregivers.

County to guarantee account for JPB

Johnson County has agreed to act as the co-signer on the account for the Kaycee/Buffalo/Johnson County Economic Joint Powers Board to establish an account in their name with Rocky Mountain Power.

FIB Donates Winter Coats to VOA

Volunteers of America Northern Rockies were the recipients of winter coats from First Interstates Bank’s coat drive, “One Warm Coat”. Thursday, December 5, Volunteers of America arrived at First Interstate Bank to pick-up more than eighty winter coats they had collected.
