Extension Finally Moves to New Office

After months of working out of boxes at the Sheridan County Courthouse, extension educator Scott Hininger and his staff are settling into their new offices in Sheridan College's Watt Regional Ag Center.

Bronc wrestlers and local basketball teams on the road this week / Cowgirls down Montana

BRONC WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers will be in Worland tomorrow and Saturday for a dual tournament.

Head coach Tyson Shatto says the Broncs are coming off two pretty good tournament performances in Forsyth, Montana and over in Rapid City.

And he says the Worland duals will be a chance for each wrestler to get several matches.

And he says the teams in Worland will be tough.

County Road Department Takes Over Rural Addressing Effort

The road and bridge department of Johnson County has now assumed the responsibility for rural addressing, because both county fire districts decided they no longer wanted to be involved in the program.

Board Approves Home Schooling, Mileage Payment Requests

The school trustees of Johnson County School District One approved a number of requests, recently, regarding home schooling, isolation and employment.

The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Sheridan Association have announced that Susan Ottema of Sheridan is the week three winner of $100 in Chamber Bucks as part of the Christmas Stroll.
