Broncs / Lady Broncs split on opening day of the Flaming Gorge classic

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - -The Sheridan Lady Broncs cruised to a 56-30 win over Star Valley Thursday in the opening game of the Flaming Gorge classic.

They jumped out to a 17-3 lead after the first quarter and led by as many as 30 in the second half. Robbi Ryan led the scoring with 13 points.

The Broncs had rough day after a long bus ride they took on Uintah county,Utah.

It was a struggle through out the game as the Broncs played from behind uintah had a 10 point lead in the first half but the Broncs made a late run to get within two at halftime down 30-28.

The latest storm to hit the area didn't amount to a lot in terms of snow accumulation, however, the rain that fell before the freezing temperatures has made the roads in and around Sheridan County very slick due to ice.
