Governor Mead Vetoes Unemployment Benefits Bill

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming Gov. Matt Mead has vetoed a bill he says would have made it easier for employers to deny unemployment benefits to terminated workers. The veto is Mead's first since taking office more than two years ago.

LOCAL BASKETBALL OFFICIAL NAMED TO THE WYO SPORTS OFFICIALS HALL OF FAME

The Wyoming High School Activities Association (WHSAA), and the Wyoming Sports Officials Association (WSOA), recently announced that Brett Reed from Sheridan along with two other officials will be inducted into the Wyoming Sports Officials Association Hall of Fame.

The inductees will be honored during a banquet in conjunction with the Wyoming Coaches Association on July 26, 2013 at 7:00 pm at the Parkway Plaza in Casper.
