The Rocky Mountain Regional Office of the National Audubon Society, Audubon Rockies, is advocating that the United States Fish and Wildlife Service list the Gunnison Sage Grouse as an endangered species. The USFWS has an opportunity to list the bird as endangered next month.

Johnson County Approves Budget Amendment For Grant

The Johnson County Commissioners, at their last meeting, approved Chairman Delbert Eitel to sign Resolution No. 472, approving the submission of the funds to the county budget for the Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan for Johnson County.

It was a cold, brisk evening on Bourbon Street when we visited New Orleans March 2.  In fact, it was their chilliest night of the year.  We were bundled up like Wyoming people know how to do, while the locals were shivering and barely covered.
