Wyoming Governor Matt Mead Thursday vetoed portions of the supplemental budget bill that lawmakers sent to his desk last week. One of the Governor's line-item vetoes allows for more money to fight wildfires this summer.
The State Lottery bill took another step forward Thursday, as it cleared second reading in the Senate. Those in favor of the bill point out that many Wyoming residents are spending money out of state, money that could be spent right here in Wyoming.
At this week's Johnson County Commissioner's meeting, Scott Duncan, Juvenile Probation Coordinator, and Todd Richins, Division Director for Volunteers of America, presented the Commissioners with their quarterly report on the juvenile justice program for the county.
