Mrs. Claus Reveals 'Secret Identity'

Many area residents, children and adults, have noticed that Mrs. Claus looks a lot like a certain well-known Sheridan resident. Well … turns out that's no accident. Mrs. Claus has a secret identity. And this week, she shared her secret with Sheridan Media.

Dayton Council Meets Monday

Dayton's town council will consider final reading of the town's floodplain ordinance, and discuss allowing residents to run water to keep water pipes from freezing, at a meeting Monday evening. The session will start at 7:30 in the Town Hall.

Governor Matt Mead submitted his proposed budget proposal for the next two years today. In contrast to the steep upward trajectory of state spending over the last decade, Governor Mead’s budget is flat.
