At their Monday night meeting, the Sheridan City Planning Commission unanimously approved a request to rezone nearly three acres near the Sheridan County Fairgrounds from an R-3 residential zone to a B-1 business zone.

Four More Nationally Certified Teachers Honored By JCSD1

At their meeting Monday night, the Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees honored four Kaycee teachers that have earned National Certification. These four are in addition to the nine honored in Buffalo earlier this month.

Sheridan's "Meals on Wheels" being appreciated

After six or so inches of snow over the weekend covered the ground of the Elk Pasture at Kendrick Park the resident buffalo were perhaps glad for the Monday afternoon arrival of "Meals on Wheels." The buffalo were on the far ridge when the city "Meals on Wheels" truck entered the pasture and wasted little time heading for the food that was being spread from the truck as it circled the pasture.

Buffalo's Worlds Of Music Presents Music Of Muldova

The music of Muldova will be featured this weekend in performances and a workshop in Buffalo.

Worlds Of Music, in cooperation with the Susie Bowling Lawrence Hospice will present “La Taifas Quartet” in three performances, a workshop and dance Friday and Saturday at various locations in Buffalo.

3rd Annual Citizen's Police Academy in Sheridan is Approaching

The Sheridan Police Department will one again be hosting a Citizen's Police Academy this year. Applications are now being accepted for the 3rd annual Police Academy that will mix classroom teaching with hands on practical exercises. Sheridan Police Sgt. Travis Koltiska explains.

Laramie High School Wins 17th Annual Wyoming Academic Challenge

Laramie High School took top honors in the 17th Annual Wyoming Academic Challenge at Sheridan College over the weekend.  Members of the team took home a trophy, medals, and one-year full tuition scholarships from Sheridan College.
