Lady Eagles Still Perfect at 11-0

The No. 1 ranked Tongue River Lady Eagles went to Big Horn on Friday and notched another victory to go 11-0 on the season but the Big Horn Lady Rams made a game of it. Bailey Bard hit a two with 3:30 to go in the game to put Big Horn up 39 - 36 but then Jadyn Mirich and Gracie Goldhammer fouled out. Ranchester capitalized and pulled out a 45 to 41 victory.

BRONCS / LADY BRONCS vs. BILLINGS WEST

Tonight the Lady Broncs defeated Billings West with a final score of 55 to 48. The Lady Broncs continue their streak and are now 11-0 this season.

The Broncs lost at West high in Billings 72-33.They play Natrona county Saturday at home tip off is at 4:30 the game will be broadcast live on 105.9 FM.

Superintendent Hill: 'This Appears to Be A Power Grab'

State Superintendent of Public Instruction Cindy Hill didn't mince words Friday in her response to proposed legislation that would essentially strip her of her duties as superintendent. Hill offered testimony Friday to the Senate Education Committee.

The Chamber Ambassadors held the ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday, January 8th for Qdoba Mexican Grill in Sheridan. The new restaurant at 2112 Coffeen Avenue opened in December.

Cowboy Carousel Kickstarter Still Needs Funds

Arts Along The Bighorns began their Kickstarter program in December to raise the necessary funds to purchase and eventually move the historic Cowboy Carousel to the proposed Cowboy Carousel Center in the old Beutler Building on North Lobban Street.
