Economic Task Force to Continue to Work on Issues

The Sheridan County Economic Task Force was created several months ago to work on ways to strengthen our local economy.

THE PBR HAS A LOCAL FLAVOR - Former Sheridan resident Tab Barker who now resides in Austin, Texas made a visit to Sheridan Media Monday.

Known more for his ongoing "Project School House" program in the last several months some may have seen him on the national television broadcasts of the Professional Bull Riders tour not as a contestant but as a translator for several Brazilian riders.

The problem the PBR had was interviews with the Non-English speaking riders and Barker fit the bill knowing their native language Portuguese.

JCHC Recruiting Difficult, Still Looking For OB staff

Johnson County Healthcare Center's Hospital Administrator Sandy Ward told the Board of Trustees at their recent meeting that recruiting for an Obstetrics Physician has not gone well, and that the hospital is continuing to recruit nationwide to fill the position.
