South Park Bridge Swings into Place

On Monday afternoon following a full day of work by many, members of the StoneMill Construction company of Sheridan, swing the just arrived and assembled South Park Bridge into place. The bridge now connects Sheridan Avenue near RENEW across Little Goose Creek to the Pathway System that runs through South Park and beyond.

Sheridan County was one of only three counties in Wyoming that saw total payroll decrease during the second quarter of 2011, according to a report released this week by the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services.

Free Clinic to Give It Another Go Around

Last year the Free Clinic of Sheridan County was denied in their application for a Community Development Block Grant from the State that would have allowed for the renovation of the Sheridan County Public Health Building to house the Free Clinic.

Commissioners Award Bid For Fairgrounds Drainage Project

Improving drainage issues at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds took another step forward Tuesday, as the County Commissioners awarded the bid for the Fairground's drainage improvement project to NST Construction in the amount of $78,031.95.
