Bison Swimmers Are Conference Champs!

Buffalo's boys' swim team took the Conference Championship last weekend in Rawlins, finishing well ahead of second-place Worland to capture their third straight conference title.
Buffalo finished with 337 points, followed by Worland with 292, Douglas with 225, Rawlins with 204 and Newcastle with 102.
Coach Ron Chapin said this was the most exciting conference championship he has been involved in, and he was pleased with how the team responded to a good challenge from a good Worland team.

Johnson County Denies 24 Hour Liquor Sales Request

At last week's county commission meeting, a request from a local liquor retailer for a variance to allow sales of liquor during selected 24-hour periods during the year was denied.
