Holiday Spirit Campaign Continues

As of Thursday, the Sheridan Senior Center's Holiday Spirit Campaign had raised $17,000. Donation letters were sent out prior to Thanksgiving and another round of letters are expected to go out in mid January.

Buffalo Council Approves Change Orders For Sports Complex

At their last meeting the Buffalo City Council approved change orders in the amount of $261,874 for O'Dell Construction for the sports fields complex currently under construction at the old Centennial Park.

Wyoming Has Nation's 4th Highest Population Growth

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming has 6,000 more new residents than it did a year ago, giving the Cowboy State the fourth-highest population growth rate in the country. The State Economic Analysis division says the newcomers moved to Wyoming between July 2011 and July 2012.

Montana Man Accused of Threat Against Wyoming School

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - Police say a 19-year-old Montana man has been arrested for making threats against a school in Gillette, Wyo. Missoula County Sheriff's Detective Jason Johnson says Erik Sven Wengren was arrested Friday and charged with disorderly conduct.

BRONC WRESTLERS TO USE THE BREAK TO RE-FOCUS

BRONC WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers have entered the holiday break and it's an important time as Head coach Tyson Shatto says they can get a lot of work done until their next tournament.

And Tyson says the season really goes fast after the first of the year. The Broncs open 2013 at the "Shane Shatto" invitational tournament in Douglas January 4th.
