Big Horn Lady Rams Cruise 3 to 0 over Moorcroft

On Thursday evening the Big Horn Lady Rams made it look easy as they downed the Moorcroft Lady Wolves in three sets: 25-5, 25-9, & 25-12. Here you see Lady Ram Senior Gracie Goldhammer going up to "hammer" the ball between defenders #15 Kimberly VerBurg and #8 Kristen Noyes to put her team up 11 to 3 in game two.

These two young ladies were all smiles at the final 3rd Thursday of the year.

Despite a number of events going on in Sheridan Thursday night, this year's final 3rd Thursday Street Festival in Downtown Sheridan drew a pretty good crowd once again.

Taste of Home Cooking School

It was that "hurry up, get your seat kind of night" as hundreds filled the Sue Henry Auditorium at Sheridan High School for the annual "Taste of Home Cooking School" Thursday night.

The Sheridan Cattlewomen held an Ag Expo earlier this week at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds. FFA members fro Sheridan, Clearmont, and Tongue River were on hand to lend a hand at the annual expo.

Recovering the Wagon

The folks from Sheridan Tent and Awning were busy recovering a wagon in Big Horn Thursday afternoon. Jason Bare was working on the outside as the crew recovered the wagon above the Big Horn Smokehouse & Saloon at 158 Johnson Street in Big Horn - the new covering depicts the new name of the business.

The Black Tooth Brewing Company in Sheridan will be raising funds for the Dog and Cat Shelter of Sheridan Friday with the Growlers for Growlers Oktoberfest event at the Brewery. Shelter Executive Director Cel Hope.

At their meeting this week, the Buffalo City Council discussed a number of topics with City/County Engineer Wayne Hill, including the possibility of adding a secondary access into the Greenleaf Subdivision.

Habitat For Humanity Taking Apps For Next Buffalo House

Habitat For Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns/Buffalo is currently taking applications from families for their next Habitat House which will begin construction soon.

Applications will be accepted until October 5th, according to Nancy Orwig, volunteer with Habitat For Humanity in Buffalo.
