Busy Schedule for Concord Coalition Regional Director

The Rocky Mountain Regional Director of the Concord Coalition will be spending the next several days in the Sheridan area to speak to various groups and organizations.

Volunteers of America Northern Rockies held a dedication ceremony Tuesday dedicating the Life House on the their campus in south Sheridan. The Life House is a men's treatment center for those struggling with substance abuse addiction.

Accreditation Team To Assess JCSD1 Next Month

At their meeting Monday night, the Johnson County School Board discussed their upcoming accreditation assessment, which will happen the week of October 7-10.

Buffalo Council Adjusts Overtime, Comp Time For BPD

The Buffalo City Council, at last week's meeting, passed Resolutions 1345, concerning overtime, and 1346, concerning comp time, changing the city's personnel policy for employees of the Buffalo Police Department.

Gas Goes Up Nationwide; Sheridanites Pay $3.59

The national average price of gasoline climbed to $3.843 per gallon this week, but five gas stations in Sheridan have set their prices at $3.599. Other prices found around town range all the way up to $3.699.
