A new wildfire that started in the Teton Wilderness in western Wyoming over the weekend has grown to about 4,000 acres.

Saturday, September 1st is opening day for small game and upland bird seasons. Game and Fish Information Specialist Warren Mischke says that there are a couple of things hunters need to keep in mind, especially this year with the drought.

T.J. Headed Home to Redmond Oregon a Big Winner

In rodeo terminology T.J. McCauley is headed for "home" after having rounded the third barrel to finish Senior Barrel Racing with a time of 18.688. However before the day was over T.J. would head "home" to Redmond Oregon with a 2012 Ford Truck, thanks to Fremont Motor Sheridan, while pulling a three horse slant load goose neck Jackson trailer, thanks to Prime Rate Motors.

Fire Restrictions Lifted In Parts of Medicine Bow National Forest

Fire restrictions have been lifted in some areas of the Medicine Bow National Forest near Laramie, but much of the state remains in the grip of a relentless drought that is predicted to persist over the next few weeks.
