JW Meiers rides for a score of 70 to top all Saddle Bronc Riders during the first performance of the 32nd Annual Sheridan County Rodeo on Friday evening. On Saturday there are two rounds of action starting at 1:00 pm and then again at 7:00 pm with the final performance set for 1:00 pm Sunday.

Lightning Causes Several Fires Around the Region

Officials with the Bighorn National Forest Service have confirmed that lightning that moved through the area Thursday sparked several small fires in the National Forest and one on private land near the Bud Love Wildlife Management Area.
