In the wake of the Aurora, Colorado, “Movie Theater Massacre” in which twelve movie goers were killed and 58 injured, the debate continues: Should we have stricter gun control laws or do we continue to protect the rights of gun owners.
A fire that started late Saturday night near Acme due to lightning from thunderstorms appeared to be contained early Sunday afternoon before a strong thunderstorm producing 50 mph winds moved through the area causing the fire to flare up violently.
Sheridan Media has learned that there are two fires currently burning in Sheridan County. The fires are located near Wyarno and Acme. According to Sheridan County Fire Warden Bill Biastoch crews have contained the Acme fire and are on the scene at the Wyarno fire.
