Governor Views Impacts of Two Wildfires

Wyoming Governor Matt Mead spent Tuesday traveling to Weston and Albany Counties to get a firsthand glimpse of the devastation caused by two of the largest wildfires that have burned so far this year in Wyoming.

Private Giving to UW Exceeds $40 Million

Private giving to the University of Wyoming for the fiscal year ending June 30th exceeded 40-million dollars for the second year in a row.

Battery Citations Lead to Administrative Leave for RMA Employees

Two employees of Rocky Mountain Ambulance have been put on administrative leave until further notice after being cited for Battery Monday. Alex Carmody and Brand Stewart were cited for allegedly injuring a 75-year-old Sheridan County man in mid July.

Weather Service Issues Update On The Fire West Of Buffalo

The National Weather Service issued an update on wildfires in the state this morning, including the fire west of Buffalo in the Bighorn Mountains that has been burning since Monday.

Ambre Energy North America, Inc. and one of its subsidiaries, KCP, Inc., filed a counterclaim against Cloud Peak Energy, Inc. and its subsidiary, Western Minerals, LLC.
