Helping build a new trail west of Sheridan

Saturday morning about 100 hearty souls lent their feet for a good cause. They helped break in the first portion of the soon-to-be opened Soldier Ridge Trail off West Fifth Street. As you can see the youthful and not so youthful and their dogs (and one parrot) were among the first trudgers as they negotiated a switchback early on the trek.
