No Water - No Problem, you can always "Pony Surf" as jockey Colby Rockroads of Team Roundstone from Busby, Montana appeared to be doing in heat four of Wednesday evening's World Championship Indian Relay Race. Two Time Champ Luke Rock Starts Slow

Two time World Champion Indian Relay Race jockey Luke Rock of the Rock Relay Team from Lodge Grass, Montana had a rough go in the Wednesday night 3rd Heat finishing in third place. Luke had a poor start and a trouble filled start of the last leg to cast doubt of a three-peat champion run. Luke was first in both 2010 and 2011.

Lining up chairs along Main Street in Historic Downtown Sheridan in preparation for events Friday morning has become an annual tradition. The Sheridan Police Department reminds people that if you are going to set your chair up early, be sure it's done after 6 pm this evening.

Dust Abatement on Holloway Today

The Sheridan County Road and Bridge department will be treating Holloway Avenue between 13th and 15th Streets today for dust abatement for the second time this year.

At their last meeting, the Johnson County Healthcare Board of Trustees approved price increases, increases in wages and pension contributions and the capital budget in preparation for approval of their final operating budget later this month.

Ash Creek Fire Is Out, But Not Over

The Ash Creek Fire in southeastern Montana is reported completely contained after approximately two weeks of active fire behavior that destroyed 249,562 acres of BLM, county, and private land.
