Authorities Release Names of Boy Scouts Killed in Wyoming Crash

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Authorities have released the names of three Boy Scouts and their Scout leader who were killed in a head-on collision while driving back to Colorado from a camp in Wyoming.

Sheridan Media has learned that the Powder River County Sheriff is advising residents to evacuate as the Ash Creek Fire continues to move to the North and East.

TROOPERS DROP TWO STRAIGHT / IN RAPID CITY TODAY

The Sheridan Troopers dropped two games in Casper against Jackson and Colorado Springs they stand at 30-6 as they begin play at a tournament today in Rapid City.

The Troops open today against Vermillion, South Dakota.They will play two Monday against Canyon City, Colorado and the host team post #320 from Rapid.

Kent and Avis Lundine of Casper with their 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-door hard top took home the coveted "Best of Show" at the 2012 KARZ Rod Run held on Main Street on Saturday. The 126 entries were narrowed to but one and Kent and Avis were presented the - one of a kind - award (made by Adler Welding of Sheridan) during the banquet held at the Kalif Shrine Auditorium Saturday evening.

Fire Restrictions In Effect For All BLM Lands In NE Wyoming

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Buffalo Field Office, in a media release, announced it has implemented fire restrictions on public lands in Sheridan, Johnson, and Campbell counties effective June 29, due to dry conditions and high fire danger.
