Lots of Gold to Behold

Looks like all the gold has escaped from The Bank of Sheridan's vault at 1375 Sugarland Drive and is now disguised as "golden" daylilies on the front yard for all to see and enjoy. Did you know that there are over 60,000 registered cultivars of daylilies and that they come in many colors except for pure blue and pure white, which hybridizers are working on?

The Sheridan Planning Commission Monday night approved the site, landscaping and building design for a Qdoba Mexican Grill that will be located on the North Brundage Corner Subdivision, which is the site of the old Parkway Motel.

City Council Approves Ordinance For SID #78

The Sheridan City Council held a special meeting Monday to allow for a public hearing on the assessment role for Sheridan Commercial Park Special Improvement District #78.

TROOPERS AT HOME TONIGHT / GAME LIVE ON 14-10 KWYO

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers have won 16 straight games and coming off sweeping five games at a tournament in Powell and currently stand at 29-4 overall and they are back at Thorne-Rider stadium tonight.

The Troops go after their 30th win of the season tonight when they host a conference game with the Casper Drillers.

It's a single nine inning game it will start at 5:00 and we will be broadcasting all the action live for you on 14-10 KWYO.

Johnson County Approves Additional Funds For Drug Court

At their meeting last week, the Johnson County Commissiners approved a request from the Community Resource Center of Johnson County (CRC) on behalf of the Johnson County Court's Supervised Drug Treatment Program for additional funds for FY 2012.

Bradford Brinton Memorial and Museum turns 51

Sheridan County Needs New Planning/Zoning Commissioner

County Commissioners Chairman, Mike Nickel, appeared on Public Pulse last week on Newstalk 930, KROE, and announced there's still an opening for a Planning and Zoning Commissioner to advise the county commissioners regarding the physical development of the county.
