The Sheridan City Council held a special meeting over the noon hour Thursday, where they approved on second reading an assessment ordinance for the Sheridan Commercial Park SID #78 that will provide infrastructure improvements to the park.

Jordan World Circus Performs Friday In Buffalo

The Jordan World Circus will perform one show at the Johnson County Fairgrounds Friday evening at 7pm.

According to their website, acts may include aerialists, balancing acts, high-wire acts and of course, various animal acts, depending on the venue.

TROOPS LOOK TO EXTEND WINNING STEAK TODAY

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers have won 19 straight games and stand at 32-4 heading into a double header today in Casper.

There is no doubt the success the Troops have had this season has been amazing but Head coach Ben Phillips says it's not all about having a great winning
percentage.

And he says in the long run there are only four games that really count and those will be at the state tournament in Casper in early August.

Cato Fire In Mop-Up Stages, Says Jo Co Fire Chief

The Cato Fire, which has burned 27,700 acres northeast of Buffalo, is in mop-up stages as of Thursday evening, according to Johnson County Fire Chief Wes Johnson.

Demo Work Underway

Demolition work on the McDonald's at North Main in Sheridan got underway this week. A building similar to the McDonald's on Coffeen and Brundage Lane will be constructed at the North Main location.
