WYOMING ALL-STARS BEGIN PRACTICE

Both the men's and women's Wyoming all-star basketball teams began practice Wednesday as they ready to face the Montana all-stars in the annual series Friday and Saturday.

The games in Sheridan will be playede Friday night at 6 and 8 PM in the Hoffman dome at Sheridan college.

Games Saturday will be at Rocky Mtn. college in Billings at 6 and 8 pm.

All four games will be broadcast live on 14-10 KWYO. Broadcast time will be at 5:30 with Trevor Jackson and Rocky Erickson.

Low-cost Rabies Clinic Going Strong

Dogs, cats and their human guardians wait under the band shell at Kendrick Park Wednesday afternoon. Veterinarians are available here between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. through Saturday to administer low-cost rabies vaccinations. In an effort to help raise funds to pay off a loan to avoid possible foreclosure, the Sheridan Heritage Center will be hosting a fundraiser for the Historic Sheridan Inn this Friday night.

The ribbon was cut, the ground was broken, and construction is now officially underway on the West Downtown Phase III Reconstruction Project in Sheridan. The project fully engulfs the Sheridan County YMCA, as it consists of reconstructing Jefferson and Dow Streets.

The USDA, Forest Service Bighorn National Forest and Sheridan County have reached a cooperative forest road agreement. The County Commissioners approved the agreement at their monthly meeting Tuesday.

The public information forum on Lake DeSmet organized by the Lake DeSmet Conservation District and held Tuesday night was well attended with most seats in the Buffalo High School Auditorium filled.

New Deputy Attorney Introduced To Jo Co Commission

At their meeting Tuesday, the Johnson County Commissioners were introduced to the new Deputy County and Prosecuting Attorney for Johnson County, Ryan Wright.

County Attorney Ken DeCock made the introductions.
