Sheridan P.D. Responds to Explosive Device

The Sheridan Police Department Thursday responded to a report of a possible explosive device in the 600 block of Monte Vista. Upon arrival, officers found two homemade M-80 sized firecrackers that had been found in the street. A media release issued by the P.D.

Honor Camp Escapee In Custody

James Friesen escaped from the Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp Monday and was on the lamb until last night. He is now in police custody in South Dakota.

Prisoner, James Friesen, who had escaped from the Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp in Newcasle on Monday is back in police custody.

Open Registration For Women's Self-Defense Course

Empower Wyoming is offering a women's self-defense class Monday at the Holiday Inn in Sheridan from 6 to 9 p.m.
