SHS Class of 2012 has Graduated

Sheridan High School 9-11 Band struck up Sir Edward Elgar's 1901 "Pomp and Circumstance" at precisely 1:00 pm Sunday and the Processional was on as the graduates-to-be filed into the standing room only gymnasium for Sheridan High School Commencement Exercises 2012. Once seated a branding took place - perhaps a Wyoming only event.

Nate's 7th Drive

Eatons' Dude Ranch kicked off its 133rd season with their annual horse drive but for Nate, in the center of the photo taken south of the State Information Center, it is just his 7th drive.

Fort Mackenzie High School held their graduation ceremony Saturday, and today Sheridan, Big Horn and Tongue River High Schools will all be graduating their seniors with diploma in hand.

Inn Renovations On Hold Until Debt Is Addressed

The board that operates the Historic Sheridan Inn plans to focus on paying down a $1.4 million debt rather than fundraising to finish renovations at the Sheridan landmark.
