Color for a Cause

On Wednesday afternoon Candice Swanson and Angela Lockard from Volunteers of America were immersed among the abundance of colorful flowers at Landon's Greenhouse & Nursery. The two were carefully selecting geraniums to enhance the VOA campus in preparation for the dedication of the Chip Garber Greenhouse set for Saturday at 11:00am.

City Council to Hold Special Meeting to Fill Vacant Ward Two Seat

The Sheridan City Council will hold a special meeting next Monday to fill the open seat vacated by John Bigelow at the end of March. City Clerk Scott Badley says that they've received letters of interest from two applicants.

Three Sheridan Students Receive Daniels Fund Scholarships

The Daniels Fund has announced that 24 high school seniors from Wyoming have been named Daniels Scholars and will receive funding to attend the college or university of their choice.

A BUSY LOCAL SPORTS SCHEDULE THIS WEEK

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan high school soccer teams lead their conference races with three regular season matches to play. They play Cheyenne Central and East this week and will finish up at home next week with Gillette.

The Broncs play at home varsity game times are 6:00 tomorrow against Cheyenne Central and noon Saturday vs Cheyenne East the Lady Broncs play in Cheyenne.
