Bison Shut Out Bearcats 6-0

The Bison soccer team hosted Douglas Monday night and shut the Bearcats out 6-0.

Buffalo scored in the first minute of the game, the 13th minute and in the 29th, 47th, 66th and 72nd minutes as well.

The Bison had 16 shots on goal to Douglas' 4. Buffalo had a 3-0 corner kick advantage and had 4 saves to the Bearcats' 8.

No score is available from the girls game yet.

Next up for both teams is Newcastle on Friday. The girls will be on the road while the boys will host the Dogies.

Drainage Work Complete on Beaver Creek Road

Fletcher Construction has completed the replacement of the drainage culvert under Beaver Creek Road (CR-87) - about one mile south of Big Goose Road (WyoHighway-331). This 10.1-mile long road was closed at this point for two days to accomplish the work. If you haven't traversed this road recently now is a good time to do so.

Community Meeting on the Future of Kendrick Pool is Tuesday

The Kendrick Pool in Sheridan was built in 1937 and officials with the Sheridan Recreation District and City of Sheridan have planned a community meeting for Tuesday night to determine what the future holds for the 75-year-old pool.
