Wing, 68, Dies in Story Fire

One man died in a house fire in Story over the weekend. First responders were alerted to the residential fire at about 10:30 Friday evening and extinguished the flames to find the fire had claimed a life. Sheriff's Deputy, Cpl.

On the last day of April this robin, perhaps a male, may be scouting out a May nest building site. Robins are one of our earliest birds to nest. The male arrives first and picks out an area an acre in size. When the females arrive and join their mates the final size of the mating area is reduced to about 1/3 of an acre.

Dayton and Sheridan Search and Rescue Execute Save at Tongue River Canyon

Sheridan County Emergency Services were called to the Tongue River Canyon this weekend when some hikers ran into trouble.

A Celebration at Ucross

The Ucross Foundation held an Arbor Day Celebration over the weekend that included an early birthday party for the founder of Ucross, and a special book signing. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there and has the story.

WEEKEND SPORTS WRAP UP

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Broncs swept two games over the weekend beat Cheyenne Central 4-0 and finishing up the weekend beating Cheyenne East 1-0 Saturday.

Head coach Kevin Riser says to stay in the race for the conference title and an automatic bid into the state tournament they needed both victories.

Weather conditions were brutal for both games but Riser says the Broncs fought through the wind and rain to pick up both games.
