Have Building - Need Furnishings

A special meeting of the Sheridan County School District No. 2 board of trustees will be held on Wednesday, April 18th at 11:45 am in the District Central Office. The purpose of the meeting is to award bid recommendations for the furnishings and equipment for the new Meadowlark Elementary School. The building is progressing nicely and is scheduled to be complete by August.

Former Vice-President Dick Cheney, who recently underwent heart replacement surgery, spoke at the Wyoming State Republican Convention in Cheyenne over the weekend. Cheney received last minute clearance from his doctors late last week to attend the convention.

Body of Missing Colorado Man Found in the Bighorn's

The Sheridan County Sheriffs Office has confirmed that the body of 33-year-old Felipe De Jesus Aragon was found in the Bighorn Mountains this weekend. Mike Gale with the Sheridan County Sheriff's Office said that the body was discovered by an owner of cabin in the mountains.
