Helping Clean-Up the Sheridan Area

On a breezy Thursday morning two entities were seen helping do their part to clean up the Sheridan area. Vehicles were being vacuumed and washed at the brand new Let'Er Buck Car Wash on Brundage Lane (WYO 334) while a Wyoming Department of Transportation street sweeper was busy sweeping the shoulders of the highway.

Rotary Gives SHS $1,000

Sheridan High School accepted a donation from Rotary of Sheridan for $1,000 it will use to support its free and reduced lunch program, as principal Dirlene Wheeler announced at Tuesday's District 2 meeting.

Buffalo Girls Beat Douglas, All Teams Prepare For Weekend

Buffalo's soccer teams both downed their Douglas counterparts in games Monday night. The boys beat the Bearcats at home 6-0 and the girls beat the Lady Bearcats on the road also by a score of 6-0.

The Lady Bison's goals were scored by Kaitlyn Armstrong, assisted by Caley Stafford; Stafford on an assist by Armstrong; Lisa Zezas, assisted by Armstrong; Armstrong unassisted; Olivia Spanos unassisted; and Stafford, assisted by Hanna Peterson.

Goalkeeper Jenna Anderson had four saves for the Lady Bison.

Buffalo Council Gets Update From City Works Department

Buffalo Public Works Director Les Hook made a request of the city counil to approve a 980 work schedule for employees at the waste water treatment plant, explaining the new schedule will give the city better hourly coverage while saving costs.
