SMH Switches to Single Use LMA's

The new single use LMA's that Sheridan Memorial Hospital is now using.

Last week the Wyoming Department of Health paid a visit to Sheridan Memorial Hospital to complete a survey and to monitor the Laryngeal Mask Airway sterilization process to ensure the hospital was following the manufacturers recommended sterilization procedure of steam autoclaving the devices.

Golfers in Sheridan will have one less place to swing the clubs this summer as the Sheridan Country Club has closed. It appears that a downturn in the economy has forced the members to dissolve the club and turn over the assets to First Interstate Bank.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER WEEKEND RESULTS

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Lady Bronc soccer team took two matches over the weekend running their record to 6-0 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

They beat Cheyenne South 11-0 Friday and came back and beat Laramie 2-1 Saturday.

The Broncs split their games they are 5-1 overall and 1-1 in conference play.

They beat up South Friday 9-0 and had a rough outing Saturday losing to Laramie 2-0. Head coach Kevin Riser says it just wasn't their day Saturday.

Healing Waters Offers an Outlet for VAMC Veterans

Healing Waters Fly Fishing was started last year by Gordon Rose to introduce and teach the benefits of fly fishing to military veterans at the Sheridan VA Medical Center. Rose says that currently he's teaching a rod building class.

Johnson County High School Weekend Sports Wrap

Johnson County's high school sports teams were busy this weekend with four soccer matches and a track and field meet.

Friday Buffalo High School hosted the Jerry Campbell Invitational Track and Field Meet, with a number of area teams competing, including Kaycee and Tongue River.

No results from the meet were available as of this morning, abut we will post them when they are released.

The Bison soccer team hosted Powell at Bison Stadium on Friday, downing the Panthers 2-0.

Saturday the boys traveled to Cody and took care of the Broncs 3-1.

City Of Buffalo Replacing Portion Of Angus Street Water Line

At last week's Buffalo City Council meeting, Marilyn Novotny, owner of the building housing a number of businesses at the corner of Angus and Burritt Streets, spoke to the council about numerous leaks that have cropped up and been repaired in recent years on the water line in front of her building.

BHS Drama Department Performs To Packed House

Lauren Stewart, as Milly Bradon, and Spencer Walters, as Adam Pontipee, perform during the BHS interpretation of 'Seven Brides For Seven Brothers' last weekend.

Buffalo High School's drama department performed “Seven Brides For Seven Brothers” to packed houses both Friday and Saturday nights at the BHS Auditorium.

Commissioners Eyeing SHSG Funds For JC Security

Security measures at the new Johnson County Judicial Center will be paid for with FEMA State Homeland Security Grant funds, if the Commissioners' plan moves forward.
