The Johnson County Library's LEGOs At The Library 2012 was another success, according to Steve Rzasa with the library, who said this year's contest drew the same number of contestants as last year, just a more diverse group.

Johnson County Weekend HS Sports Preview

Buffalo and Kaycee High School sports teams have already begun their busy weekends, with both school's track teams participating in the Speedgoat Classic Track and Field meet Yesterday in Newcastle.

Buffalo, Kaycee, NSI and Midwest were among 17 schools attending.

No results from the meet have been released yet, but we will post them when available.

The Buffalo Bison soccer team, 4-0 overall and ranked #1, and the Lady Bison, 1-3 overall and ranked #5, are off today, but both will be in Lander on Saturday. Game times are at 12 and 2 for both the boys and girls.

Statewide partners against child abuse planted hundreds of children's blue and sliver pinwheels on the lawn of the Wyoming Capital this week to call attention to the importance of prevention and intervention during April, which is child abuse prevention month in Wyoming.
