Bison Boys' Season Ends With Two Losses At State

The season for the Buffalo Bison boys' basketball team has ended with a 60-46 loss to the Lander Tigers in their consolation round game at the State Tournament this afternoon.
The Bison opened up their State Tournament with a 67-49 loss to Star Valley yesterday.
With today's loss, Buffalo's season is now finished.
Lander will move on to the Consolation Championship Game tomorrow.

Hematologist Oncologist to Join Welch Cancer Center

Sheridan Memorial Hospital CEO Mike McCafferty announced to the Board of Trustees Wednesday that a new physician has signed on with the new Welch Cancer Center. McCafferty announced that Dr. Greg Marino will be joining the team later this summer.

Local Athletes Recieve All-Conference, All-State Awards has released 1A and 2A All-Conference and All-State Teams, compiled by votes cast by the Wyoming Coaches Association, and a number of local kids from Northeast Wyoming were recognized.

Making it to the 1A East All-Conference Boys' Team from Midwest was Adam Van Norman and Chad Rinker. From Kaycee was Marcus Koch, Chase Gosney and Jordan Largent. From NSI was Jon Mason and Isaiah Valero.

The 1A NE Player of the Year was Adam Van Norman of Midwest.
Named to the All-State team from Northeast Wyoming was Adam Van Norman and Jon Mason.
