South Carolina-based urban planning firm, Arnett Muldrow & Associates, presented community stakeholders on Thursday morning with their plan to look into creating a Downtown Development Authority in Sheridan.

A floor drain at the Buffalo/Johnson County Recycling Center is broken and in need of replacement, and the Recycling Board made a request of the Johnson County Commissioners to look into the problem and make a decision on how to proceed with correcting the issue.

Vols Needed For Public Health Biological Drill in May

Coming up in May, Public Health Offices all over the State will be conducting drills for a possible “biological event” to understand how prepared the state is and how to better prepare in the future.

Busy High School Sports Weekend Begins Today At BHS

The annual Jerry Campbell Invitational Track Meet, hosted by Buffalo High School will be today at Bison Stadium.

The field events will begin at 10am, running events begin at 11.

Teams scheduled to compete are Arvada-Clearmont, Buffalo, Kaycee, Meeteetse, Midwest, NSI, Tongue River, Worland and Wright.

Bison soccer will also be in action today as the boys host the Powell Panthers. Game times are at 3 and 5.

The girls will be at Powell today with games also scheduled at 3 and 5.

Saturday the girls will host Cody while the boys will play on the road at Cody.
