Sheridan FFA Regional Creed Speaker

This is Chaney Peterson, Sherda High School Freshman, and Sheridan John B. Kendrick FFA Jr. Officer. Her position is Treasurer. She had begun FFA at the start of August, her freshman year. Chaney along with all other FFA members in the chapter and around the state must memorize the FFA Creed by E.M. Tiffany. Chaney presented the creed by memory and answered question for 5 min.

SAWS Approves Moratorium on Soldier Creek Water Main

7th 'Run 'till You're Green' to Support Sheridan Jaycees

This weekend's run-to-celebrate-a-holiday (St. Patrick's Day) is the 7th annual “Run Till You're Green” Fun Run, a fundraiser for the Sheridan Jaycees. Jarod Martin tells us more.

Earlier this week we told you that Sheridan City Councilman Steve Brantz would be running for Mayor in the upcoming election. A message left on the Sheridan Media newsroom phone alerted us that there had been another entry to this year's Mayoral race. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the story.

BRONCS SET TO DEFEND STATE SOCCER TITLE

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams open their season playing matches with Riverton tomorrow.

The Broncs will play at Riverton the Lady Broncs host the Wolverines the JV's play at 4:00 the varsity 6:00.

Saturday the Lady Broncs play at a Jamboree in Cody the Broncs will play in Worland.

Broncs Head coach Kevin Riser says they are excited to begin the season but will not be at full strength for a few games.

Clear Creek School Building Discussed at Work Session

The fate of the old Clear Creek School Building may not be crystal clear yet, but some questions have been answered after Monday's work session between the Buffalo City Council and the Johnson County School District Board of Trustees.

Special Olympics Wyoming conducts Jackelope Jumps at various locations around the state each year to raise funds for the organization. This year's local Jackelope Jump was scheduled to take place this Saturday at Lake DeSmet.

Joint Powers Board Gets Economic Development Plan

The Kaycee/Buffalo/Johnson County Economic Development Joint Powers Board had their March meeting Wednesday morning and heard a presentation from Michael Michalski of MCS Strategies on how the region can better position itself to attract new business to start up or relocate here and how to better the economic climate in general.
